Pack Creek Campground offers you and your family quiet, secluded camping.  We are the only off-highway multi-site campground in the Moab area. Family members and pets at no extra charge.  Non-family sharing your site are $5.00 per night. RV Sites:  We have level, graveled, pull-through sites with full hookups – including both 30 ampere and 20 ampere GFCI outlets, city water and city sewer (no septic tank!).  Maximum RV length of 35’, can accommodate some slide-outs.  We have dry camping available for RV’s longer than 35’.  Overflow parking available for tow rigs.   Electric & Water Sites:  These sites are of varying sizes (from 16 feet to 30 feet with one 40 foot full pull-through) and designated for slide-ins, pop-ups, small RV’s, and self-contained vans that do not require a septic hook-up. Tent Sites:  We have clearly designated tent sites, each with a parking space, picnic table and firepit.  They are all close to our centrally located bathhouse and laundry room. Most of these sites are located right next to the creek, with creek side space for most to pitch your tent in the shade.

The staff was helpful and appeared well organized as we were presented with a personalized camp map with our last name printed in bold letters across the top and the site already tagged and ready for our arrival. The sites are fairly maintained and the bathrooms, while partially renovated, were clean. The tent areas were level and nicely appointed with a parking spot, picnic tables, both a grill and a fire pit, and the option to pitch your tent in a walk-in area down by the creek or by the table/fire pit/parking area above. The bathrooms/showers/laundry and camp sink are all situated in a building across from the tenting area so that was really convenient. There's a nice playground area for kids next to the shower/restroom/laundry building.
There were two main turn-off's for us: the creek was littered from dumping (old carpet, tires, and various debris including parts of old cars along the banks and in the water) - not somewhere you want to let your kids play. The second was that it appeared to be part trailer court, part rv park (with a lot of permanent residents) and then a small part tent campground. With the more permanent rv/trailer residents, the area had a shabby/dumpy sort of feel to it since they didn't appear to have requirements on how tenants maintained their individual lots. Otherwise, were were happy with the accommodations and staff.

Highly suggested! Super chill employees and a great place to pitch a tent by the creek. It is roughly 15 bucks more than the KOA and it is a much better experience.

This is a very busy small campground and is best suited for small-medium RVs. The on-line registration it indicates RVs to be 11-foot high maximum. I called to be sure our 12-foot MH would fit and they were able to give us a site without low hanging tree branches. Being an older campground the sites a very narrow (pre-slideout days). Campfires are welcome and wood is available for purchase. They have great tent sites in the shade along the creek.

We normally opt for the free BLM spots, but given the 100 degree heat, we knew needed A/C to make it 5 days in Moab! We were hesitant to stay here at first as the front looks like a mobile home park, but after driving to our sites (31 & 34) we felt more comfortable as we were surrounded by other short term RVers. Both of our sites had shade which was necessary in this heat even with A/C. I’d recommend site 34 as my first choice for rigs of our size (28ft travel trailer) as it is a pull through, but 31 was fine too as long as you parked the truck in the overflow lot. Showers were hot and they had laundry on site (only one washer worked), but can’t really complain for $30 per night with hookups.

The first few moments of entering this campground will be some mobile homes, and other conveyances. It’s sort of nestled in a residential area of sorts. At first, we thought it was a bit sketchy, but once through the long term inhabitants, the campground opens up and is fairly nice.

We were with a group, and the group sites are at the far end. Restrooms there consisted of a portapotty, it was a handicap accessible one so at least it was spacious. We were secluded way back there, nice and quiet! We pitched our tent among the Russian olive trees. There was some nearby plywood and other discarded items, I drug over the plywood and made a sand free “front porch”. Like I said, a weird little place.

It wasn’t dirty, but a bit rough around the edges. I will say the owners were working on updating things while we were there. (May of 2016)

Older funky little campground long term combined with overnights. Cute little playground, spotless bathrooms and laundry room. THE SHOWERS ARE LIFE CHANGING! Hot water, great pressure...-ahhhh. Cute tent sites creek side but we stayed up top in our 24 foot RV. They have big pull thru sites as well and a dump station. Little trees and tucked away in quiet neighborhood away from gravel souless highway campgrounds. Not fancy but perfect! Good WIFI.

Campground hosts are nice. We stayed for four days last week. Good access to Moab proper and Arches National Park. The park is safe and very quiet in the evenings. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for one night due to the heat, we typically boondock but decided we needed the electricity and water due to the heat. The staff was very nice, the campground was very clean, and the neighbors were quiet aside from some stray children at the playground. Very cramped sites however, the RVs were practically touching in some spots. The shower house was great! The showers were clean and the water ran a consistent temperature and had a good pressure. Coin laundry was available as well, about $2.00-$3.00 a load depending on the settings. This is also off the main drag of Moab so a little more quiet, we liked not being right in the middle of town. wifi available too.

Stayed here 7/17/19 to 7/24/19. I was a little skeptical pulling in because it looked like a mobile home park and a lot of the permanent resident campers were kind of an eye sore, but the lady that helped me check in was very nice and helpful and once I got out to my spot it was all good. They actually gave me a reusable canvas bag with the campground logo on it because apparently most places in Moab won't give out plastic bags, so I thought that was really nice. My site was a pull-through with full hookups and was kind of away from the permanent residents. It wasn't very busy when I was here so most of the time I didn't have anyone next to me, but I could see it being crowded if the park was full.

All of the amenities at this park were amazing. There are trash cans and dog bags all over the park and a nice dog run area in the back corner. The wifi was blazing fast (maybe because I was right next to the antenna and there weren't many campers here) and I didn't have to use my cell hotspot the whole time I was here. The laundry facility was also very nice and had 3 washers and 4 dryers. And the showers were probably the best part. They were large tiled showers with a ton of pressure and hot water, which was so nice after long days of hiking.

The only negative thing I could really say about this place (which isn't really even the parks fault) is that the mobile homes next door could get kind of loud sometimes. Dogs barking, loud music early in the morning and late at night, etc. It wasn't enough for me to dock a star from the overall rating though. Staying here for a week was a really great experience.
