“top rated moab lodging and activities”
Located 14 miles up the Colorado River on scenic Hwy 128 from downtown Moab, we are situated beside the river’s best white water rapids, at the foot of dramatic Red rock cliffs. It’s a classic, rugged Western landscape worthy of Hollywood, and was in fact the site of numerous films, including Rio Grande with John Wayne. Red Cliffs Lodge earned the prestigious 2012 Certificate of Excellence award from TripAdvisor.com. Our travelers consistently commend our property with the highest praise, and they recognize our 4.5 rating as an exceptional achievement. Currently ranked the #1 hotel in Moab, Utah by TripAdvisor.com. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g60724-d267781-Reviews-Red_Cliffs_Lodge-Moab_Utah.html ------------------------------------------------- National Geographic Traveler - Red Cliffs Lodge of Moab, Utah has been has been selected by the editors of National Geographic Traveler magazine tobe included in the second annual “Stay List”, featuring “129 Hotels We Love.” Quoting National Traveler Senior Editor Sheila Buckmaster: “The hotels on our Stay List 2009 don’t just reflect their surroundings-they help define them,” says Traveler Senior Editor Sheila Feldman Buckmaster. “What they all have in common is a transcendent vision that goes beyond traditional hotel-keeping. And after your stay, you’ll leave with the kind of insight only soulful places can provide.” ------------------------------------------------- Red Cliffs Lodge wins “BEST OF STATE” award. Reviews
Magical. Awe inspiring. Scenic drive in. Close to Arches National park. Views from everywhere you stand.
We stayed one night in our lofted ceiling room with a full size kitchen and table. We used the back patio that had a dog walking area (we didn’t bring our dogs but always notice dog friendly lodging!). We swam in the outside pool and used the hot tub that offered amazing views of the area Cliffs too (both were open 8am - 10pm). My younger daughter loved the playground - newer and in the shade! I cannot stress how much we wanted to stay another night here!
Fantastic place, what a treat to stay here, right on the bank of the Colorado River.
