Quiet in campground with few other campers. Shaded somewhat level gravel sites. Two way dump station with potable water. 30 amp electric at site.

This was a great place to stay. The campground host was very friendly and accommodating. We had reservations for Friday and Saturday near the lake (A20) which were cancelled as the sites were flooded by the lake. However, we were able to stay at a different site for both nights with no issue. Even with some sites flooded by the lake, the campground didn’t feel crowded and the sites are spaced out well. The dump/fill station is very easy to get in and out of, located between the separate loops. Check in and check out is at 6pm which is great for weekend trips!

This was a great location for our stopover heading south. It’s big rig friendly with dump station, 50amp and water hookups. We are 42ft and stayed at site 64A plenty of other sites large enough as well. The campground is dated but works great for a night or two. Only about 10-15 from Clinton to restock on groceries and supplies. We got there before the 6pm check in and parked early. No one was manning the gate or cared that we were early.

Really a nice park! We just needed a place to lay our heads peacefully one night and catch up on groceries, fuel, showers, dump tanks and that kind of stuff. We had been traveling for days. This was the place!
We were in site A09 and with our senior discount it was only $12.50 a night. I wish we had a park like this close to home!! Check In and Out times are weird though. 6pm - 6pm.
The showers needed updating but was good pressure and heat.
We needed minimal leveling on our site.

We were traveling through high winds and found this on our route on the recreation.gov app. Traveling in a 30' C Class with tow vehicle and did not want to unhook. Got one of the 3 pull thru sites in A Loop. Had to use blocks to level. No one at gate when we arrived at 1:30 so went to dump station for water as site had only 30 amp listed under amenities. Was surprised to see water at site, looks like was added recently. Site are good size. Lots of trees, grass needed mowing. Only 2 pit toilets in loop, bathhouse closer to B loop.
We paid $12.50 with America the Beautiful Senior Pass.
