“Beautiful city river trails and park”
The Riverwalk - officially named the "River St. Joseph of the Miamis Trail" is a circular system of pedestrian/bicycle trails on both banks of the St. Joseph River. Pedestrian bridges connect the Riverwalk at strategic points such as Central Park, Kamm Island, and the new Robert C. Beutter Riverfront Park. A footbridge connects Beutter Park on the south shore to Battell Park on the north. The Riverwalk experience is enhanced with appropriate signage, beautiful landscaping and lighting - and, of course, the river itself.
It is absolutely beautiful. I love taking our family pictures along the river walk. On the other side of the river there is an awesome stone built area by the river. Kind of like a waterfall pond area. Looks really neat.
