Splash RV Resort & Waterpark

New site. Sites good but there are many finishing touches that need to be addressed to qualify as a full service Rv resort. They’re trying. I’ll update more info later.

Opened in Spring 2022. Beautiful RV park with large mature trees. Lots of amenities: swimming pool (lazy river not heated though), laundry is large and spacious, nice and clean shower facility buildings, lodge with events, entertainment and food truck (on weekends), dog parks, and mail service. Park has high speed WIFI that you are encouraged to stream - that is a first for us! Our site C107 was a back-in with FHUs, cement pad and a picnic table. 30+ over-the-air channels, but only 2-3 were usable. AT&T was 5G with 4 bars. It was an easy drive to the white sand beaches at Navarre. Do not book sites that are near Interstate 10! It is very loud on that side of the park!

Read the reviews and not all stays are the same so let me begin. Very easy access for a big rig to pull into. Nicely thought out landscaping for Florida weather. Only one side is close to the interstate and that is A. You can book a specific site number which is what we were allowed to do. We also were told we could check in at 11am which was a bonus! Now, front desk was a little rude at first. She eventually came around with small talk. I was really impressed with the office and all of the actual set up & interior. Really nice golf carts to rent for over 100 a day. The bath houses are amazing and really clean. I have a nice shower but these are well worth using. We have 4 dogs. 2 Doberman and 2 chihuahuas. The park in the back was more than we could have hoped for. Plenty of room to roam and always pet stations that supply doggie bags all over the grounds. No poop anywhere on the ground! Now, the spot was C85. We walked to the pavilion and lounge/pool area. I was impressed with how clean it was. The adult pool was nice and no kids invaded it. The Biergarten was open and one food truck. We had a great experience and we would definitely come back! Maybe not in the busy summer days but certainly an off season visit again.

We camped in the newest part. Nice clean park. They are still working on getting all the landscaping completed. Water park was fun. But I think only we saw the height limit for the slides as 48in. But it is an once or two taller then that. They wifi is promising. I was told it is something they are working to address. We were also told a playground , fire pits, and mini golf could be something they add. We did get a lot of channels on the antenna and cell coverage was great. Depending on where you stay in the park you will have road noise.

4 day stay and it was amazing. The staff was very welcoming. Amenities are wonderful, from the bathhouse to pool area dog park and laundry house. Decent food, arcade among other activities. Staff lead us to our RV spot and brought our golf cart to us. I mean I can’t say enough about this place! Impeccable. Only down side is proximity to hwy….. if noise bothers you C area is the best for a little more peace but over all we were able to tune out the noise.

Overall new and well maintained park. The kids pool is very dirty however and even though it‘s heated too cold in a cloudy day Mid of March. Sites are clean and well shaded, but if you are as lucky as we were, you might end up right next to I-10 and not be able to have a conversation outside your RV or sleep at night due to trucks driving right through your RV.
