“historic old bridge”
The covered bridge at Historic Bowen's Mills in Delton is located to the south of the mill structure. It was designed by the first generation miller, Neal H. Cook and is a quaint scale replica of the covered bridge that crossed the Thornapple River in Middleville years ago. It was built in 1982 out of wood that was donated from the old Middleville Mill that was torn down at that time. The awesome beauty of the 17 foot water wheel and the 1864 Grist Mill can be viewed from the bridge.
