“Simple is always better”
Rumor has it simple is always better. At Fiorito the food is simple and straightforward, exactly how Argentinean food should be. This small, family owned spot offers Italian fare, Spanish fare and argentinean cuts of certified angus beef, Fiorito is inviting and warm, just like going to your best friends home for dinner, except they are serving up some seriously delicious grub. Brothers Maximiliano ,Cristian Alvarez and Sebastian Cardona opened up the spot in 2012. The name is a nod to Villa Fiorito, a suburb of Buenos Aires notorious for being the childhood home of Diego Armando Maradona, one of the best footballers of all times. The Chef is Christian Alvarez and the front of the house is run by Maximiliano and Sebastian, The food is inspired by the pair’s childhood eating and is undisputedly good. The decoration is a bit like a cool old cabin. For anyone who is familiar with Argentinean culture, this will be a trip down memory lane. Images of Maradona, soccer and Tango frame the walls. Antique soda jugs, wood panels and red bricks will transport you as far away from Miami as possible and the smell oozing out of the open kitchen will bring you right back and open up your appetite.
