Palacio's business is best known and identified as the One And Only Traditional Cuban Eatery in Miami where its main seating area is outdoor under a roofed canopy to protect patrons from inclement tropical weather, but also displays all of its cooked, ready-to-serve menu foods to its patrons on steam tables maintaining the dishes hot for the server. Want to show an out-of-towner a real Miami experience? Take them to El Palacio to buy Cuban food by the pound and treat them to a glass of freshly squeezed jugo de caña (sugarcane), mango or maracuya ($2). Try the pork lechon or arroz con mariscos as a lunch platter ($10), and you're all but guaranteed to have leftovers for dinner.
This place isn't fancy but come on-- it serves Cuban street food. What else would you expect? There's a few stalls, each serving something different. If you're not sure what to order try the chicharrones!

Pile up as many different types of grubbin Cuban dishes as you want from the steamtables(but be sure to include a few hunks of crispy fried chicharrones) and be prepared to nibble for the rest of the day.
