“The best of what's around”
Award winning chef and owner Andrew Carmellini's menu features fresh fish and shellfish, choice meats, local produce and the best of what's around. This is where you can find a celebratory dry-aged steak, a deluxe shellfish platter or a big round of drinks and something good to snack on.
Andrew Carmellini's Miami restaurant serves elevated American classics with a South Florida bent. Highlights include fried oyster sandwiches, house-made pasta, seafood and top-notch cocktails. End your meal with an exquisite slice of pie.
We get a little pang of nostalgia every time we think about the all-you-can-eat chicken during the late Southern Fried Sundays. Luckily, the country-fried lollipop chicken wings ($14), served with tangy Scotch bonnet jam, keep us satisfied. Here's hoping for a comeback!
If your idea of treating yourself involves a modern, eclectic setting with rustic American fare and specialty craft cocktails, look no farther than this Miami Beach favorite. Its private room, enclosed with white brick columns, seats up to 14 people. If your party isn't that large, the lantern-strewn patio (ventilated by the ocean breeze) is also perfect for the season. As for what to order, well, there's an extensive selection of oysters, but you already know what we love.
