The Peninsula Point Light is a lighthouse located at the southern tip of the Stonington Peninsula in Bay de Noc township in Delta County, Michigan. United States Coast Guard historical documents have over the years listed the name of the site as both Peninsula Point and Point Peninsula.
It was a nice little lighthouse to visit towards the end you have to drive down to one lane gravel road which isn’t too bad. Once you get there it’s a nice open area and you can actually climb to the top of the lighthouse and get a good look at the lake.
We took in the sunset here from the top of the lighthouse!! The drive-in was spectacular along the coast and through an ancient grove of trees. Hantzel and Gretel-esque .
