Beale Street, which this statue basically sits at the entrance to is a fun spot. Be sure to check out Scwabs and get some BBQ while there.

If you happen to be there, stop by. But I wouldn't make a trip out of going to see this statue (and I'm an Elvis fan). However, Beale St. is half a block down from the statue and it's a lively, fun spot, even if it is a bit touristy.

If you love Elvis this is worth the photo op! Right in the vicinity of Bealle Street.

It wasn't too impressive. Don't go to Beal St before noon. Everything was closed.
