It seemed like most of Memphis had issues with crime, but this area had a very high presence of police. But it was very clear they have had issues. The employees’ vehicles are in a fenced in area and there are signs everywhere stating to leave nothing in your car. Despite this the area seemed to be relatively safe with nice townhouse nearby and other attractions. The pyramid houses a list of different things. The Bass Pro Shop is like all their other stores. But the pyramid is like walking into a southern bayou, with small buildings housing the areas for the store, the winding rivers allow huge fish to swimming through the store and the massive fish tank houses the amazing local fish and looking on from the hills are mounts of local animals. The outside of the structure has the bungalow style hotel rooms that overlook all the action. You can Bowling in an underwater Alley where the alligator ball returns were the high light. They have a shooting arcade, archery range and shooting rage. But you can not miss the tallest freestanding elevator in the world rising from the middle of the pyramid. (TIP) come hungry in the middle of the day. It cost $8 each to ride the elevator to The Overlook a bit expensive for an elevator ride but it is cool. But in the top of the pyramid is a restaurant, their lunch menu as hamburgers, chicken strips and sandwiches with huge fries for around $18 and the elevator ride is included. Now you can sit and eat enjoying the view for as long as you like and if you subtract the elevator ride you have a $10 meal that is delicious.
