Givens Hot Springs

Friendly staff. Electrical outlets looked a bit run down. Nice pool and mineral spring water hookup. Good green space for the kids to play. Has wifi.

The water isn’t that hot in the main pool and lots of people stay in for hours. You can rent a private tub for $10.00 more where you can adjust the temperature. There are nice lawns around the building where the pool is but the area where you park is riddled with goat heads (the thorny seed of a ground cover type weed). That’s probably why dogs are not allowed. The electric is 20 amp only. The people working were wonderful. No sewer hookups or dump. No cell or WiFi to speak of

Staff was very nice. Only the small 15A plug for electricity (had to borrow a 30Amp to 15Amp converter). This a GREAT place for kids -- everyone seemed to be having a great time. I don't have kids, so I was looking more for a quiet meditative hot springs experience, not to be found here. Again, GREAT for kids. I was in one of the farther down sites and the WiFi is good. It's 10pm and now mostly quiet. Did not have to level the RV as it was close enough. Neither of my Verizon nor my AT&T phone worked here. This is definitely a limited stay kind of place, as there is no sewer and no dump station.
