It's right on the Maah Daah Hey trail which was the attraction for us. There is a pit toilet and water. You cannot hook a hose up to the water so plan on bringing jugs to carry it if you need to fill your tank. There isn't any shade so plan accordingly to temps. The road is about 17 miles off the freeway. Half of it is wash board the other half is in great shape! Because of the washboard, it took us about 40 minutes or so to get to the site. We had good enough cell signal through Verizon that I was able to work with no issues. It does depend on what spot in the campground you choose. We picked site 1 and it was great! Was even able to stream Netflix.
Also sites are huge!!

I didn't believe the little rocks under my tent are fossil but it actually is!
The location is famous for mammoth fossils and other bigger animals, there's not much possible to find a trilobite fossil since it's the relevantly new age.
Anyway, a nice place to spend a night enjoy the serene phenomenon. Definitely good hiking and great gravel route views.
