Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on October 24, 2021Flat blacktop area on the West side of I5 in the parking lot of Cracker Barrel with several other restaurants within walking distance. The area felt safe with very little traffic in the parking lot. At 2:30AM there was a delivery at the rear of the restaurant so wear ear plugs. We would stay here again.

we stayed here just for a night to boondock. very convenient, and honestly not too loud despite close to I-5. close to fast casual/takeout spots & walmart. we left at 9am, many other RV's were still in the lot. remember to keep this a good thing and be a good camper leaving nothing behind :)

In Van - Great overnight. Nice location and great food. Unfortunately three women in big white suburban style SUV pulled in late and left early leaving toilet paper in parking lot and large trash bag in bushes. I cleaned up what I could - disgusting. And grey beater van with junk all round was squatting there. They ruin it for the rest of us. So sad. Heartfelt thanks to CB - please don’t let the few spoil it for the many!

There are quite a few cars with taped up windows and you can tell people are living out of them. A run down camper you can tell someone’s living out of in the parking lot next door.
I got here at 7:30 and police knocked on my door at 9:30 on a manhunt, they said they had reports that he was in a camper and Cracker Barrel parking lot. It was just me. there were also police hunting for something in the dark at the park and stop 30 minutes before here at the rest stop, and which I left a bad review because there’s no lights so I couldn’t stop there. So someone was being hunted in Medford area last night.
They warned me about the man and went about to hand. I have my dogs in a stun gun but it is always a nerve in when you see place prior to arrival and then they also knock on your door lol

I’m sitting in this parking lot right now on 4/14/24, and it looks closed. I just did a search and local news reports came up that say it permanently closed two days ago. There are precious few other free overnight options and I need to be here, so I’m gonna take my chances tonight and will edit this entry if necessary.
