The Valley Inn Motel RV Park Club is located in the beautiful town of McAlester, Oklahoma and is a great spot for a fun and enjoyable camping trip. Campers can look forward to a mix of peace and quiet as well a plenty of outdoor activities to take advantage of. Travelers can expect outdoor fun like biking, fishing, golfing, hunting and stand up paddle boarding. There's also opportunities for picnicking, stargazing, sunset viewing and nature walking will onsite. Amenities at the park include grills, laundry facilities, fire pits, garbage bins, mail delivery, picnic tables, 15/20/30/50 amp sites, water, RV sanitation and WIFI. Just beyond the campground are a number of excellent local attractions such as: The McAlester Scottish Rite Temple Krebs Heritage Museum Tannehill Museum Choctaw Casino McAlester Great Balls of Fire Gaming Center SOFA Art Gallery Whispering Meadows Gallery Urban Wineworks Plus, there's a ton of excellent Oklahoma bars and eateries for sampling local flavors! Just stayed one night. Basic campground with full hookups and pull through sites, which was great for us. Good WiFi. Asphalt pads, fairly level. Gravel road. Host was very helpful and nice when we set up a reservation over the phone. They also have online registration. Our site was right beside the bathhouse but we didn’t use it so I can’t comment on that. You could smell the nearby cattle. And there was also a train close by. Otherwise pretty quiet. Overall good campground.

We stayed one night and were appalled by the condition of the site next to us (and general condition of the park). There was a sewer hose submerged in an open container, dog feces, and lots of junk piled up. We did not even want to open the windows, let alone sit outside. This park seems to be predominantly long term residents. It's located down the hill from a stock yard, which I guess you can't really complain about when you are in rural Oklahoma. However, the constant bellowing of cattle throughout the night made it hard to sleep. Not sure if that's typical. We will not be back.
