“think globally, buy locally”
We're glad you are here! We offer a fine selection of fleece and fibers from Michigan grown sheep and goats. Our livestock produce soft-as-a-cloud cashmere and wear-next-to-your-skin fine wool spinners' roving, comforter batting, felted hats, coin purses or cell phone covers, handspun and custom spun yarns and hand knitted scarves, ponchos, sweaters, baby blankets, socks and shawls. Here's a little vignette about the farm by Kat Peterson, State News Reporter. She visited us in January 2011. We've moved toward a finer fleece by welcoming Bob, the Moorit California Variegated Mutant ram to our farm in 2012 (he's still here, but is now a "unic". Our 2013 lamb crop is 50/50 Merino crossed with Bob. We were fortunate enough to have 12 lambs join the farm this year, six of them are ewes and are staying on the farm - We now boast fine looking natural color crosses and pure white Merinos.
