Lost Canyon Lake Lodge

Lost Canyon Lake Lodge is a magnificent two-story log home nestled in the pines and overlooking Lost Canyon Lake. It combines the desirability of seclusion and privacy with easy accessibility to the natural splendor of Southwestern Colorado. The lodge has 4 guest rooms, each with a private bath. The Lodge Common room features an enormous moss rock fireplace, pool table, and lots of wood and glass. A fully equipped housekeeping log cabin next to the lake is also available. Guests are invited to wander the 20 forested acres, relax on the deck, soak in the spa with a lake view, gather around the hillside fire pit for cool mountain evenings, shoot pool, or sit and read or enjoy a video by the fireplace. In the dining area or on the deck, a hearty breakfast is served to lodge guests each morning while they enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains and the lake. The breakfast changes daily and includes delicious entries served with home-baked breads and pastries. A cup of tea or coffee, a glass of wine or beer and other refreshments are served in the common room each evening. Cookies, fruit, nuts and beverages are available anytime. Each of the four guest rooms, decorated uniquely, offers furnishings designed to encourage a romantic getaway. The king-sized rooms have vaulted ceilings with soaring windows that overlook the lake and forest. Both have small sitting areas for reading or just daydreaming. The two smaller rooms feature queen-sized beds. These two rooms include sleeping lofts accessed by stairs. Our Log Cabin (two night minimum) with a full kitchen and bath accommodates four in a queen sized bedroom and sleeping loft. Lost Canyon Lake Lodge is conveniently located between Dolores and Mancos, Colorado on Highway 184. Visitors are within 40 minutes of numerous attractions such the Narrow Gauge Railroad in Durango, Colorado. The entrance to Mesa Verde National Park lies 20 minutes away.
