I was on my way to Pie Town with my 7 year old and this was a very quick detour. Knowing a little bit about the mining industry, I was able to show him the head gear to the mine. OPEN MINE TOP! Be very careful as you get close to the mine as there is only a little chicken wire fence barely standing that separates you from falling into the abyss. There are a few other structures partially standing, but the mine itself was cool.
