We love the location, being so close to LA but with a homey small town feel. The sites are paved, and mostly level. This time of year only half the Park is open. There are about half a dozen sites that could accommodate our 35 foot motorhome.
There are two bathrooms with flush facilities. No showers. And there are are numerous water spigots around the Park. There is a friendly full time camp host here.
There are numerous trails and Jeep roads nearby and a ranger station a few miles away. Also nearby is the local bar/restaurant/store.
They are fire rings and picnic tables.

4/8/21 called & asked. Campground closed due to Covid-19
Overall this was a nice stay. There are bathrooms and water, though not the best of the best. The people nearby were nice and I was glad I got there early enough (4-5pm) to get a spot before the crowds rolled in. There was a constant loud hum from a property nearby. Not sure if it was a giant generator or what, but it's definitely audible 24/7. The campsite had 2 tables, grill, and a fire pit. Overall it was a good time with a nice view of the valley mountains. There are ants, so don't put your food on the ground. And a lot of sap, so watch out for sticky feet. I also had NO service at all for At&t. Nice and easy place to camp.
