“stay with us and experience the tranquility”
Lubbock RV Park has so much more to offer than just a horse and a saddle! Unlike the other cities on the Texas Panhandle who rely heavily on ranching and agriculture, Lubbock sits smack in the middle of the South Plains and has a lot to offer our guests while they are visiting. Texas Tech University, Lubbock Christian College, community theaters, MacKenzie Park. The Depot District, with The Buddy Holly Museum. We also have the Silent Wings Musuem, Ranching Heritage Musuem, fine restaurants and nightclubs. These are just a few of the things to help keep you occupied and entertained. But, we haven't forgotten that Texas Hospitality that Texans are famous for! Come stay with us and experience the tranquility at Lubbock RV Park. Relax among the many shade trees on one of 86 shaded, level spaces, most with concrete pads. We offer paved streets, an outdoor pool, laundry facilities, clean restrooms and showers, and a storm shelter...just in case Mother Nature should blow into town. We are open all year and convenient to downtown.

Camped here in early May, arriving on a Friday night. There were almost full due to the camping season here starting so early. With some site juggling they found one big enough for our rig. Trees need to be trimmed some, but the shade was nice. Concrete pad. Shade trees. Pool was closed due to it getting a new liner. Host apologized for state of the Rec Room...she was cleaning it. WiFi was anemic, the router was a b standard which has been out of date for years. Best part of this place was the strong OTA TV signal and the very strong (5 bar) Verizon 4G. MiFi worked great.

Stayed for a week and found it a comfortable relaxing place, offering tree shaded sites and above average amenities for a small park. Close to highway, but noise did not seem excessive. Had some site electrical supply issues initially, but management fixed the problem quickly. Great air-conditioned clubhouse with common area, exercise room. restrooms (nice), and laundry (also very nice and relatively cheap). Small pool but was popular because it was HOT during our stay. Cable and free Tango WIFI. Would recommend visiting the Silent Wings Museum (WWII Gliders), Buddy Holly Center, and National Ranching Heritage Center. Would return.

We were pleasantly surprised by Lubbock RV Park. Being that it is off I27 and the front is a bit packed in, we weren't sure what to expect. We had a spot at the back of the rv park and there was so much room! They are reserved for larger rvs as the spots closer to the front are smaller. We have good shade from a large tree next to our spot 87. It does get very windy back there! We had to put away our chairs and outdoor rug due to the wind from an incoming storm. The concrete pad was level. There is a large field at the back where we walked the dogs. There are a few stickers, but not bad. We ended up having to move sites for the last night. This was due to a miscommunication between myself and the owner. They were able to put us in one of the long term sites for the night as the place was completely booked up for the weekend. Just remember to double and triple check your reservation dates.
We didn't use the pool, laundry, bathrooms or common room. So we can't comment on those. The pool was medium sized, maybe 15'x30'. Lots of people we there on July 4th! But mainly not used much while we were there.
The entrance is a bit awkward. You pull in like you would for regular traffic on the right. But you have to cross over and go further into the park on the left. You then come out on the right and have to cross over to the left. So you may be driving right towards an rv pulling in!
The Tengo wifi was good and we were able to work during the week using just the wifi. When needing to do a bit of screen sharing there was a lag, but not bad enough to want to turn on the hotspot. Streaming through our Roku was great! Had no issues with that at all. They give you four Tengo wifi coupons. You have to create an account with Tengo and then you enter the coupon to access the wifi for the time you are there. We used our router as a repeater and used one code for the majority of our devices.
The staff was awesome! They were very friendly and accommodating.
Also, there were cute prairie dogs in the back fields.
Also 2: there is an Amazon Locker location in Lubbock! This was super awesome and convenient for us to get deliveries.

Staff and managers outstanding. Working hard to grow and improve. I think our site was 98. At back of park, fhu. Gorgeous sunsets and plenty of space. Saw a few prairie dogs. We stayed here longer than expected due to wind and weather changing our plans. Nice big clean clubhouse/rec hall w lots of books. Really had fun in the area. Pull thru site was level. Would def stay again.

I stayed for one night on my way to Palo Duro Canyon. It’s directly across from the airport but I didn’t hear any airplane noise because of my a/c (and the airport is super small!) Pretty standard park, older but well-maintained!

Easy to get into The park and find site. Concrete pads = no leveling necessary for us. Lots of shade trees and grass at each site and a picnic table! Swimming pool and amazing rec building with fantastic showers, bathrooms, and laundry facilities. Nice dog parks. All the utilities are within 18” from each other so it was super easy to position and hook up our rig. We would definitely stay here again or even come here as a destination stay for shopping (There are several great outdoor stores in Lubbock). There is a Love’s station a mile down the road at the next exit for groceries, fuel, ice, and fast food. The campground IS near the small airport and the interstate so you might be aware of some noise. That is the ONLY negative I can mention.

Right next to the airport. Wide level concrete spots. Easy to book over the phone with the office being closed for covid19. Pool was open but we didn’t go. No issues with noise. Great price. Felt safe!

Well kept RV park convenient to I27 as well as Lubbock. The pads our concrete and level, there were trees at most locations, and the shower and restroom facilities were private and first rate. Cleanliness was excellent. The owner was friendly. I have not complaints at all.

We picked this campground, in part, because it had some trees on the property rather than just open field. It did have the trees and was nice. When we arrived, there was an envelope on the office door with our name which had a map and our site location. It had been raining in the area and there was a lot of water pooling in the streets and pads. We were very happy when we got to Site 84 to find that it was dry but we saw a number of sites where the trailer/RV was surrounded by water. This is the only negative that we found. The pads are concrete and our site was pretty level and electric, water and sewer worked fine. There was no cable but we could get local TV on our antenna. We had 2 bars on the campground wifi. The campground is also near the airport but there was no significant airport noise at night.

This park was incredibly big and spacious. We are a 40ft diesel pusher towing our 17ft van and our site fit us completely! There’s great space in between spaces too. It’s also very well kept. You can tell there are a lot of full time tenets but they keep their spaces very clean and orderly. There’s a CLEAN pool and a playground. And a small basketball court that has balls to play with. I’m sad we were only staying 1 night. Would definitely stay again if we roll through Lubbock.
