Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area

We visited the southern unit from Wyoming. It’s secluded and stunning. We stopped at the visitor center and got a map. The ranger told us about Sullivan’s Knob Trail, a mile hike out to the canyon Tim with a spectacular view. We were the only ones there. Saw bighorn sheep on the way back to the truck. We saw some wild horses from afar near the Teepee circles. Devil’s Canyon Overlook was amazing too.
