“north and south Indian foods”
India with its ancient cultures also has the most varied cuisine on the planet. Ranging from snowy north to semi arid south where the most of exotic spices are grown the use of spices also changes. The north with its Mughal influenced kitchen has a lot to offer from the clay oven tandoor and the south has an excellent array of vegetarian foods. Bombay Grill has a blend of north and south Indian foods. Chef/ Owner Vijay Poojary has lot of experience in preparing much of Indian foods. He worked several years in USA before opening this prestigious location. We offer overnight marinated tandoori chicken and other grilled items from tandoor. The freshest of the bread, Naan comes out of the tandoor wall in less than a minute. The southern specialties include the most popular Masala Dosa (rice and lentil crepes with potato stuffing) idly, vada, uthappam etc. The Indian street foods also made into our kitchen like Pav Bhaji, Samosa chaat etc. The newest addition to its cuisine is the Chicken 65, chicken sautéed in a wok influenced by Chinese cuisine but very popular in most of India now. Mild to spicy variables are made of most items according to your taste.
