“Historic home of Los Angeles beer!”
Located in the Historic Broadway Theater District, the Los Angeles Brewing Company offers a fun, casual atmosphere for an eclectic mix of locals, tourists, and sports fans. The Los Angeles Brewing Company is housed within the Chapman Building, which was built by the Los Angeles Investment Company in 1912, more than a decade before Broadway became downtown’s jazziest entertainment district. The marble found on the wall, staircase and table tops were preserved from the original building, and the original stair railings are adorned with the letters “LA”. Years after its opening, the building was sold to Charles C. Chapman, the “Father of the Valencia Orange”, founder of Chapman College in Orange County, first mayor of Fullerton, and one of the founders of Bank of America which was headquartered right here in the Chapman Building!
