“Tinsel Town fixture since 1923”
On October 9th 1923, the Vista Theatre opened as the Lou Bard Playhouse to a packed Hollywood audience. The film playing was "Tips" starring Baby Peggy and it would be the first of many movies to grace the theatre's silver screen. Today, the Vista remains a fixture in the heart of Tinsel Town and heads toward the century mark in 2023!
GORGEOUS old theater, only one screen, cheaper ticket prices...but the best part is that they play those "Let's all go to the lobby" cartoons with the dancing snacks before the movie!
