A former mining town that was largely abandoned by the 1890s.
Great family owned historical site. Our tour guide Dave had a wonderful set of stories about this little gem of southwestern history.
This was a really fun stop and great tour by the owner of the property. Be sure to call a day ahead to make sure that you can book a tour.
I was pleasantly surprised by this stop while driving from Las Cruces, NM to Tucson, AZ.
Great stop to see the past. Family doing their best to maintain this place and fight the elements that are quickly erasing this once mining town of over 3000 inhabitants. Check it out it’s worth the stop
You don't want to miss this tour. I have never been to a ghost town but as far as tours go, this one was really great. The tour guide was more like a story teller providing rich history of what this town was like. I highly recommend this tour. It's among the best tours I've been on. Job well done to the family in charge of this attraction.
Awesome stop! Very good tour. Call ahead to be sure someone will be there to meet you! Definitely a worthwhile detour!
The guy was pretty amazing he knew everything about the place it was interesting to get the backstory what was written in from that time.
