“come to where the cool, clean waters flow”
Modern camping facilities are offered at two area state parks: Long Pine State Recreation Area which is on the northwest edge of town along Long Pine Creek, and the Keller State Recreation Area, 11 miles NW of town on US Highway 183. The Pine Glen State Special Use Area, 10 miles north of the drive in theatre, gives the more wilderness-minded hiker, hunter, or fisherman access to the lower reaches of the canyon. RV hook-ups and camping are also available at The Pines (402) 273-4483.
