Beautiful
Typically great Florida State Park. Sites are level gravel, they are raked after check out, and sheltered from neighbours by bushes. Clean and plentiful bathrooms. Boardwalks to trails but access to observation tower is closed due to storm damage.
You can't beat Florida State Parks. Clean bathrooms and lots of them. Sites level (they level gravel after checkout) and shielded by bushes from each other. Storm damage had access to observation tower close.
The sites were all under tree canopies, so we never had to put up shade.
Lime Sink trail has such a beautiful view from the bigger bridge. Every hiking path was well worth doing & very close to the campsites!
Canoeing/kayaking is $40 per boat & they pick you up right from the campground. We never had to drive the entire stay.
Full rv hookups & the bathrooms were clean. There is only one washer & dryer. The camp host & volunteers were friendly and made great recommendations.
We will be returning to this campground.
Absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We will definitely come back to finish the trail!
