Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on February 12, 2020The park limits your stay to 3-nights. There are port-o-pods, fire pits, and picnic tables. The sites are fairly small so I wouldn't think anything over 30' could get in.
There is a boat dock with access to the river so if you have a boat, kayak, or like to fish this would be a great spot but not much else to do. We walked one of the levies but it would probably make for a better bike ride.
A very quiet place to stay with the owls hooting all night long.
We were here in early November and the ladybug migration was intense with thousands of them swarming our rig so maybe skip the area then. That might have been the reason we had the place to ourselves.

The park is open for day use and boating but closed for camping. Of course I set up my entire campsite and paid before I realized they had a tiny no camping sign🙄
Google maps takes you in the back door and you can’t get in that way but go via Sheldon to the end of the Road turn right and that takes you right into the front door of the park
As I was evicted by the park keeper he was very nice about it....

Another co with no updated website.
I was driving north and needed a place for the night at the end of October 2022. This place was great. The camp host came and introduced me to the campground. The gate is located at night. The camp host and I were the only ones there that night. It seems to be used a lot by the locals for boat access to the Feather River but not the time of year when I was there.
