Pro's: friendly staff, clean bathrooms, nice and grassy spots, nice pet areas
Cons: right next to freeway so very noisy! And too many lights so it was never dark in our tent.
If your camping in something that drowns out noise and light, great place. If your in a tent, forget it cuz you won't get any sleep.
Nice cabins with TV and AC. Clean cabins and bathrooms. Nice playground and friendly staff. The women's shower was a little unpleasant with its industrial spray nozzles, but clean.
Stayed with the family on our way out west. The family that owns and operates the campground is very hospitable and did everything to make our stay better from bringing us hot pizza (we arrived after dark, hungry, tired) and getting us ice and soda to helping us find things like their laundry facilities (clean and bright) to their game room (kids loved it).
It's off the highway so you can hear vehicles in the background, but far enough away to not interfere with our sleep.
The views are amazing, it's great to stand outside and look around.

We stayed here only one night and wish it had been longer. The owners take pride in this park and it shows. They understand customer service and RV'ers. We stumbled into this park late in the day when our travel plans changed and we needed to stop to plan a bit. They made us feel right at home. Now it's on our list of places to use in the future.

We were trying to stay ahead of the snow. Stayed one night. The bathrooms were clean and warm. Enjoyed the hot water for the showers. Easy on, easy off of I-70 freeway. The freeway is right next to the campground.

This park is nothing but a MUD HOLE! For the price they should have paved drives and pads.
Did I mention it is muddy.

I have been here a few times just because it's close to where I live. It's a KOA Journey so nothing special people usually only stay a night. When I get free time from work this is our default on short notice as there is not much to do in Limon but if you just like being at your rig then this place is good for you. They are doing some upgrades here so there is construction work, it is also right off I-70 but once in your camper you can't hear it. My phone is a Pixel 2XL on Google Fi so I can switch between Sprint and T-Mo, T-Mo is full LTE, Sprint is very poor as in I got no connection forcing to sprint.

Stayed overnight on Sat, 6/22/2019.
MUD everywhere. No gravel, no concrete. There literally was a pile of mud near our driver door AND near the passenger door, too. So it rained the night we stayed here and it was super gross.
If you are fine with having everything covered in mud after leaving, this place is for you!
Very disappointed in this KOA and frankly don’t think this RV park meets their standards. Our rig’s jacks were not fitting inside of the skinny spot. You are right next to the freeway so the noise was expected, but they also sandwiched us between 2 RV’s when there was an entire row of empty spots. Spot #6 was right next to the playground, so we were awoken by the shrieks of happy children before we were ready to wake up, which did not make us happy.
I can’t believe we paid $45 for a night at this crap hole.

I read other reviews of when it was muddy, but it was dry when I stayed here. The person at the desk was extremely nice, the bathrooms were immaculate, the site was just a plain narrow gravel patch which was fine for an quick overnight. Very easy to access and exit. Conveniently located to the highway so, of course, there's highway noise. I'm an advocate of foam earplugs so noise is never a problem.
