Tejas Park sits on the south side of Georgetown Lake in the Hill Country of Texas, about 25 miles north of Austin. Tejas park features plenty of large, grassy open areas, offering lots of room for running around and enjoying the scenic Texas countryside. Tejas Park has 12 primitive campsites, allowing visitors to enjoy the outdoor experience with the added convenience of a picnic area with grills and fire rings.

A short drive from north Austin and obviously popular due to its location. There were too many people, none of whom observed quiet hours, and a lot of bugs. Lots of shade and greenery to enjoy, though.
