Jacobson Park is a 216-acre park located in east Lexington (District 7). The city had been leasing the park from Kentucky-American Water Company for use as a recreational facility since 1968 but took ownership in January 2011. The park includes a reservoir used by the water company and a golf course (Lakeside Golf Course). Ownership will be given to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (LFUCG) on January 2, 2011.

Stopped by because I hoped to see birds. A bird watching Facebook site had awesome pictures so gave it a try. It was totally wrong time of day and too hot but worth a try. First time here.... Read more
