It’s free, seriously. A free city sponsored campground is a nice thing. There are 7 spots but gut here at dark and couldn’t really tell what was and was not a spot so we just grabbed a place that looked nice. Some trees made it nice, gravel and grass, and slme picnic tables.

Not I place I would plan a trip to but it’s a perfect stop off on the way to somewhere else, for sure. It’s supposed to be RV‘s only but there is one tent camper (no car) and me, in a sleeper car. Yes there is road noise but it’s a full hum, like leaving your radio on to sleep at night. Since we sleep in the car I didn’t notice the bright light.

Oh- it does has electric and water at each site, but I believe no dump
Station.

We pulled off here because of wind, gusts of 60mph. Nice level pull thru spots with 30 &50 &20 amp, and water hook ups. Dump on site. Large light and garbage. Mostly just a big lot with gravel and some small trees and shrubs. Well maintained and clean. Free which is welcomed. Cell coverage was great when wind let it be. Using MetroPCS/TMobile. Would stay again if traveling through.

Its a great place to stay for a bit. The only thing.. There was a couple in a grey/blue tent driving a white pickup, this morning we witnessed her sitting on front bumper peeing right there for everyone to see.
We would stay again but not if they are here.

Free water and electricity. 3 night limit. Pull through sites. No bathroom facilities. Much nicer than a Walmart parking lot. Close to road so there was some traffic noise.

Water and electric and dump station and garage dumpsters! Trees and grass and 2 picnic tables in a common area. Large grassy field adjoining to wander with the dog. Good sized town nearby to take care of necessities.

We got here on a Thursday night and found one place still available out of seven and happily took it, feeling lucky.

However, it's been a rough stay so far. First off, they're doing major construction on both sides of the road just feet from our travel trailer, so the beep-beep-beep of trucks backing up combined with thumps, crashes, and everything else that is typical in construction...it's that times two for us because of the TWO construction sites happening. Then there appears to be a major airport nearby with jets flying in and out of it regularly. Then there's also the traffic of a major road that runs right past the campground...

I am an extraordinarily heavy sleeper, and I was woken up this morning by a construction truck beeping, another one dumping a load of what sounded like gravel, a semi roaring past, and a jet plane flying overhead, all at the same time. All we needed was a marching band to come through to complete the cacophony. :-p

I know that this isn't the fault of the campground, but we've also not had a good experience here – I had teenagers saying lewd comments about me when I bent over to plug in the trailer into shore power, and then in town, my husband had a gun flashed at him in the laundromat when he said, "Excuse me," trying to get past a guy who was blocking the aisle. Like, seriously?

This hasn't been a very welcoming town, to say the least.

Other than the excessive road noise and the fact that there are deep puddles everywhere because of the recent rain here, this is a nice camp spot, especially considering the price tag. There's water and electrical hook-ups right at each campsite, plus a free dump station onsite along with two large dumpsters to throw trash away. There aren't on-site toilets, unfortunately (we like to use other's facilities as much as possible to keep from filling up our own tanks) but the sites are level, the electricity is free, and the internet is excellent. You really can't complain. Just bring a pair of earplugs with you. ;-)

First 3 nights free. Clean in park: a bit of litter on the edges. Some road noise. A great stop-over with easy 50amp

This place has alot of auto traffic over the weekend. It seemed as though people were leaving their rigs for more than 3 days, and weren't around at all until very late at night. Last night (Friday) traffic through the area until 3:20 AM. Loud music, people parking so lights shining into my trailer, truck came in and dumped a truckload of garbage in park dumpsters. Trash around the perimeter of area. A LOT of trash upon arrival in one site but someone came and picked most of it up.
Iffy at times but no one approached me. I would stay again if I needed a rest. It's unfortunate the police don't patrol this area occasionally, I think it would cut down on the nonsense.

Water and electricity.
Grassy area for dogs.
Dump station and dumpsters.
Very clean.

It is RIGHT next to the airport, but we only heard one prop plane on a Tuesday evening.

There is some road noise, but it didn’t keep us from sleeping. If you’re a light sleeper or are use to being far off grid you may want some ear plugs.

Cute little town with a lot of restaurants and shopping.

Hopefully people don’t take advantage of the 3 day limitation… there was absolutely one 5th wheel RV here and no one else. I will enjoy my evening of rest drive from Santa Fe, NM and the dog and I are bushed.
To pay it forward, go into the town and buy food, needed items, or whatever. It’s all about giving back…
