Part of Yuba Lake State Park.
We chose to stay on the beach in one of the dry camping spots, rather than stay at one of the established campgrounds. It was great. /We had to use a shovel to dig down to get level, but we could beat the view of the lake outside our window.
We went on an evening walk along the lake, and found a hike to the top of a nearby hill. Unless you have a boat, there's not a whole lot to do here! No great beaches for kids, but we managed to keep ourselves entertained playing in the mud. We were serenaded by the local cow population in the mornings.
Had decent Verizon to get work & instagram photos posted. I don't remember it being awesome though. We'd stay here again if we were passing through, but don't really plan to go back.

This site is not free. 20 dollars to plop down a tent for a night is not worth it. Did not stay.
