Totally refreshed since old days. Just reopened spring 2016.
All new utilities, pull through sites, updated baths, laundry, swimming pool, dog park, rec room.
Great staging point for visits to Sequoia National Forest, Kings Canyon, Woodlake, Exeter, Three Rivers, Visalia. Also great family destination with tons of activities for old and young.
Far enough off route 198 to be very quiet at night for great getaway sleep.

This is a nice smaller camp ground with pull through sites with water and electric available as well as a dump station. The sites were gravel but pretty level. The camp hosts were very friendly and kept the place spotless. The camp ground is about 30 minutes from the Sequoia National Park, which is a magnificent place to visit. All in all this a great spot as a gateway to the National Park.

We stayed here to visit Sequoia National Park. It's about 30 minutes to the entrance, and this park was in a great location. It is very easy to get to for a big rig. We work remotely from the road and need internet to work during the week, and Verizon coverage worked well here. The lady that works at the office was very friendly. The campground is very pretty and well kept and has a nice pool. My only complaint and the reason I can't give it a perfect rating is because of the "kid tax". That's what our community of Fulltime Families call the extra charge for kids. This campground charges $3/day per child! We stayed 8 nights and we have 2 kids so that added up to an extra $48 for our stay. Sometimes I can understand the kid tax at a campground that has lots of amenities specifically for children, but this campground has nothing for children, not even a playground. In fact, it is more dog-friendly than kid-friendly. They have a very nice dog park and they don't even charge extra for dogs! So all of you traveling with dogs and not kids are in luck. But for those of us traveling with kids, this place is overpriced for what you get. I really don't understand what the extra charge for kids was even for considering there are no extra amenities for kids. And our kids sleep in our RV that we bring with us in our bedding that we bring with us. Our 2 kids did not add any extra work for the campground like we would at a hotel, but even a hotel doesn't charge extra to bring them with us. It seems pretty senseless to me.

We stayed in the group site with 11 people and 4 vehicles including our camper. The site is mostly level and includes a large stone fire pit surrounded by natural rocks and boulders, we had two AC outlets, water, a gazebo with two tables and pleasing views. Most of our group took advantage of the hot showers and plenty of open space to toss the Frisbee. We drove into Kings Canyon NP during the day, a very windy road but only takes about an hour. We will definitely be back with our group but next time check out the Sequoia NP.

Pleasant mornings and evenings with a breeze. The campsites are a decent distance apart. All have water, some have 110 and some have 30 amp. Nice store and common room. Good size swimming pool, nice and clean. There are single tent sites and large group tent sites. Most sites have trees for shade.

Decent campground, not too far from Sequoia, but about an hour away from King's Canyon. They have a game room/lounge and a pool we used. They charge $20 for early/late check-in/check-out. The campsite had a little bit of trash on it and the sewer was a little bit up hill, but other than that, a nice spot.
When we arrived the dumpster out front was full and there was a pile of trash next to it almost as big as the dumpster.

We stayed here two nights as a home base for The Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Park. The staff was truly kind upon arrival we were given a coffee mug with area info and a box of M&Ms it was a cute touch. The park is surrounded by orange groves which were in full bloom and the fruit smelled amazing!!! The people staying were 50/50 full time living there I think and everyone smiled and waved very nice atmosphere. The highway is right there but at night quiet.

The park had very pretty scenery, and the drive in is even better. Beautiful rolling green hills and orange groves. Park itself is very well maintained, spacious spots that were accommodating for our 43 ft fifth wheel (although we had to pay a premium for our large size). 30 min to foothills of Sequoia National Park which is a must visit, and you pay the price for the proximity. Good Sam discount, costs more on the weekends. Overall really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

The campground is small with gravel sites and vehicle parking on the side of your rig. The grounds are well kept. We camped in a 41’ fifth wheel. Upon arrival we were very disappointed in a $25.00 charge because we arrived before 3:00! We stayed in Bakersfield, CA and had to check out at 11:00. We took our time but still arrived at 12:40. This campground also has a checkout at 11:00 with a &40.00 charge for late checkout. They said we could sit in the parking lot for 2 1/2 hours even though our site was checked and empty. We are full timers and have never been penalized for being early, we will not be back. They also did not ask if we were Good Sams members - obviously they are more concerned with making money then customer service.
