Casual FYI, this place takes a creationist, super literal biblical view of history. Hence the dude riding a dino.

This is a creationist museum. If you can get past that the fossils and art are interesting.

This is an out of the way must see. REAL dinosaur bones and history all rolled into one large building with a good flow. Then head east one block, and make a left on Main Street until you come upon the Petrified Rock Park. There is no missing it at all!

The sculpture works by Lopez are amazing. One at local high school. The petrified forest open museum in Lemmon is a great attraction. Don't forget to immerse yourself in the Hugh Glass story before visiting Lemmon and the surrounding area.
