“Humility, Peace, Ethics, and Family”
The George C. Marshall International Center was founded to preserve The Marshall House, also known as Dodona Manor, the beloved home of George and Katherine Marshall, and to further the legacy of General Marshall who is considered by many to be one of the greatest modern-day American heroes. Today, The Marshall Center’s mission is advanced through education and leadership programs, international exchanges, special exhibits, lecture series, and community outreach events that relate to exemplify Marshall’s character, integrity, leadership, dedication, and modesty.
We took a wonderful tour of General and Katherine Marshall's home. Over 90% of the beautifully furnished home belonged to the Marshall's. The docents give a one hour tour of the home infused with information of Marshall's service, his contribution to the European Recovery Program and family life in 1950's Leesburg.
