Today, the Tally-Ho Theater is still a charming in-town movie house with popular coffee house attached. It’s in this tour to remind that only a generation ago, black people were restricted to the balcony. In 1965, a few black movie-goers decided to move downstairs. They were not challenged, and the segregationist practice evaporated.
