“abandoned ghost town wells-fargo building turned museum”
Silver mining town from the mid to late 1800's. Became a Ghost Town in the 1900's. The Wells Fargo Express Stop, built in 1877, is now a museum and gift shop.
Really cool! I stopped by here on a Sunday afternoon, so none of the buildings were open, but they had a little brochure with a map that you could take on a walk around and see all the remains of buildings. We loved exploring and learning about the town - super easy to get too off of I15 and a great way to stretch your legs and learn a little history!
