Leadville Sanitation District Office

This dump station is right along 24 on the south end of Leadville. They have someone in the building to collect during business hours and a drop box for after hours. It was easy access and is cheaper than other dump stations in the area, plus it provides potable water.

$5 dump. $2.50 potable water. Right on 24. It was so obvious I missed it the first time around. ;)

If you're arriving in Leadville from the north, be prepared to turn left on College Road and then make a quick right into the parking lot. The dump/water is right on the corner. If you're coming from the south, and are a big rig, you may not be able to make the turn. We had to go beyond the water/dump, make a U turn and come back from the north. There is a sign that ways the potable water is not for big tanks - turns out that is not referring to RVs but to large tanker trucks. Honor system for payment.

This is right off 24 before town. We pulled up to dump bladders and fill two water bladders. Amazing water pressure when filling the bladders. Best dump around!

Dump station and water literally 15' off 24 at College Rd. Had a bit of a line and fill water is same as the water at the dump facility. They don't provide a hose so you just hook up your clean water hose and fill or your black/gray water hose and flush. Kinda wish they had two different water sources, both to prevent any chance of contamination and to speed the process. I was waiting for water and had to wait through a long dump from the people in front of us.

Most of the other reviews had the detail. $5 to dump, $2.50 for water. There is a self-pay station or you can go inside during normal business hours. It is a busy dump and the potable water is used for flushing so it can take a little longer to finish. We love cities that have these dumps. Great service for us boondockers.

Super easy access right off the road! And there is a side street where you can park and wait for the person in front to finish. On the weekends, this place forms a line and can take a bit since there is only one water spigot for potable and flushing. But this is by far the cheapest dump in the are at $5 for dump and water or $2.50 for just water. And while you wait on excrements to exit, you have great views of the mountains ahead!

Potable water is at the dump station so if there is a line it goes slow. Small lot so watch who is parked when you pull in.

Very close to our boondocking site so convenient.
