“plenty of great camping”
Silver Dollar Campground is located in a shaded lodgepole pine forest at an elevation of 9,900 feet within the Turquoise Lake Recreation Area. It is named after the infamous Horace and Baby Doe Tabor's daughter. Facilities include flush toilets, potable water, picnic tables, and fire rings. Firewood is available for sale at the camp host site. The Turquoise Lake Nature Trail traverses between Silver Dollar and Molly Brown campgrounds. This gentle 1.2 mile trail will take you from the depths of the forest to the shoreline. Pick up your trail guide prior to your departure to learn about the area's flora and fauna.
