“A nature reserve and retreat center”
Earth Sanctuary is a nature reserve and retreat center on Whidbey Island, 100 minutes north of Seattle. Earth Sanctuary is open every day of the year during daylight hours. Admission is $7/person.
Just a huge waste of time. Any other forest in Washington is more tranquil and spiritual than this place. The Megaliths are interesting but people have left "trinkets" (aka garbage) on and around them as "offerings". The "labyrinth" is about 15' in diameter and 9" high, and after spending 30 seconds walking to the center you're greeted with more garbage. Apparently there are birds that nest around but we didn't see any form of life during our visit. If the admission price was different or by donation then I might give it a 3, but paying $7 (aka $10 because who has exact change with them anymore) to look at a bunch of trash in the forest is ridiculous.
Magical
