The Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve is know for its amazing wildflower display within its Mojave Desert Grassland habitat. Each spring, the reserve comes alive with color! The wildflower season generally lasts from as early as mid-February through late May, but the duration can change from year to year. The Reserve includes gentle trails (8 miles) a portion of which is paved for wheelchair access. Enjoy the abundance of wildlife including birds, lizards, gopher snakes, rattlesnakes and even coyotes and bobcats.
