First come first serve with a decent amount of open sites for a Saturday night. Honor system for payment and they accept cash and checks. Just off the highway but still feels hidden in the woods even though you can still see the highway from the campground. There’s a few full timers in the campground but sites are well kept. A few potholes in the road but nothing major and nothing we haven’t seen before at other sites. We’d definitely stay here again.

Traveling through The Panhandle on a memorial Weekend Saturday and all of the State Parks were full. We pulled off I-10 and there were still vacancies here. We were greeted by Jimbo, the Guest Host, who welcomed us and directed us to the self-pay kiosk. Self pay consisted of an envelope to fill out with credit card info or pay with cash or check.
I’m not sure how much the site was or how much tax was as the sign said $41.80 per night but did not bread it out.
The campground roads are rough but the site was fine. Nothing is modern but all worked fine. The pool looked clean and the bathroom was. The Bathroom is also getting a new paint job and there’s some fresh new sod between the building and the sidewalk.
We headed out shortly after sunup and will gladly return.

Stopped here for an overnight headed back to Tampa. Easy to get to off the interstate. Plenty of sites available on a Saturday night of spring break. Sites are a little narrow but that wasn’t a problem considering we were one of 5 other trailers there. All the others seemed to be there semi-permanently. Fairly level, easy to access the utilities. Self-pay at the kiosk at the front of the park. Had some road noise, but that’s to be expected. Husband visited the bathhouse and said it was fine. Dumpster and dump station are on the premises. Perfect stop to get our family off the road for the night and still have A/C!
