Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on December 12, 2022I stayed on this land during the big annual fireworks show and conference held in the Sara Park across the highway. The fireworks show is held near valentines day each year in February and it's a blast!!!! You get to see the latest and greatest fireworks as the manufactures are trying to show off their newest and best stuff to potential purchasers. It's a great show and is held over multiple night, but Saturday night is suppose to be the best night. This is AZ State Trust Land and not BLM land, so you need a State Trust Permit (though I doubt any of the thousands of campers here for the fireworks show had a permit). The permit is $20 for a year. It's dry camping so bring everything you need and LEAVE NO TRACE when you are done so that they don't close it down. Clean up the area around you while you are there. You are pretty close to the Lake Havasu City. If you bring a mountain bike you can easily get around into the city. You have to drive in some dirt and it's a bit bumpy, but not super bad. I got in with a two wheel drive high top van. There were lots of large rigs, so people are able to get in.

If you’re willing to make it through the bumpy road at the entrance there are spots. Some level some not. Go down the road.

This is a busy, noisy, dusty area. An AZ state trust permit is required but the sheriff doesn’t enforce it or the 14 day limit. We were there for the Presidents weekend fireworks show. Great location to see them & close to Havasu City but nothing else about this location is very good. Uneven ground with lots of washes. Lots of noise & wind.

Slopes uphill from road. Rocky. Dusty. Lots of OHV traffic. Must get a permit for $20, Sheriff comes through once a week and kicks people out that don’t get it. A bit of trash but not too bad. Close to town.

I got the State Land Trust permit. Was here in our truck and camper trailer for 4 days. Went into town for groceries and found Mohave County Sheriff came by to get campers out. No more camping here. ☹️ Also, be aware the BLM camp spots in the area are strictly being enforced at the 14 day limit.
