We chose this site over others nearby as it’s more spread out. Some spots early on multiple units but we went back about 1/4 mile and had only one tent within view. Quiet. Easy access off Hwy. our 25 ft mh plus tow had no difficulty. Didn’t see any long term ( aka living here). 4x4 s playing near but not a problem. 10 minutes to Lake Havasu

This is pretty much as good as it gets for dispersed camping in this area. Good sites not far off the road but quiet and easy access. Beautiful view of the mountains. A far better option than lone tree which was my first stop and I made a quick U-turn out of there. Super busy with OHV's and trashy RVs. That one is also right next to the highway which is very busy.

This is a beautiful spot for winter boondocking on BLM land in the Arizona desert. The location is just 3 miles north of the mall at Lake Havasu City and west of Highway 95 at milepost 192. The entrance to the road is in the middle of a section of guard rail, which makes it easy to spot. The road number is faded, but is marked 4439.
The roads are sand and loose gravel; good traction is needed, especially when pulling into some camping areas. We parked just off the main road, but it's recommended to use one of the side roads if you want less traffic.
There are plenty of places to hike or drive your OHV in the area. We suspect there are wild burros around (based on droppings), but we didn't see any near our campsite.
There are two cell towers on the nearby hill. We had excellent download speeds with Verizon and AT&T.
Like many similar areas, uncaring people have dumped old furniture and other trash in the area, and shooting is also allowed - we picked up some trash, and a fair number of spent shotgun shells. Please, if you pack it in, pack it out!

As the previous reviewer noted there is thick loose gravel that gets worse the further in you go from the highway. It would probably be easy for a 4 wheel drive vehicle. It didn’t like my 2 wheel drive Dually! I’d recommend Lone Tree at mile marker 195 over both this this wash and Craggy Wash.

I didn’t actually stay here but of all the washes I checked out, this one was the quietest. I didn’t stay because I arrived late and scoped out all of my options around the area and was too lazy to drive back to this spot. It’s not very wide for turn around space. I went maybe 1/4 mile deep.
