Very small campground on the edge of the lake. Fee camping during season and free off season. No Reservations Located on the east side of Lake San Cristobal, this county-owned public campground features 31 sites with excellent views of the lake. Various site lengths will accommodate ADA campsites, RV's and/or tents. Day use permitted. Public fishing access to the lake. Water, trash removal, vault toilets, picnic tables, grills and fire gates. No Reservations & No electricity. Rates: $15.00 per night. RV Dump Located At Campground | Dump Fee: $10

Camped here in late September, was a little chilly but free and a pretty spot. We were tent camping and the ground was a bit hard so we actually went around to the right behind the composting toilet area and found a grassy bit (though a little sloped). Not sure it was official campground but nobody moved us along. Amazing to wake up right on the lake like that.
