We tried to find the Redwood today and it is not where the coordinates given on roadtrippers specify it should be. We checked out 2nd beach, 3rd beach and rialto beach. They all are beautiful beaches and 2nd and 3rd beach are well worth the short hike it requires to get there BUT the Redwood is not on 2nd beach. So if you are looking for the redwood it is actually on first beach. You can pull of Ocean Front Road at the 'Lonesome Creek Store' and park there or park at the First Beach car park in La Push. The Tree is located pretty much in front of the Quileute Oceanside Resort. It is breathtaking and I can highly recommend to go check it out. The roots were easily about three times as tall as I am. So I am hoping that this description will make it easier for every one to find it since we followed the coordinates rodtrippers provides and spent a full day searching for it..
First beach has a monster of a tree also, next to the jetty.
Saw this a few years ago, it was so cool to stand next to it!
All the La Push beaches are gorgeous, and the small trek to 3rd beach was fun.
This is supposedly located on La Push beach, it is closed due to COVID. You can instead go to Rialto Beach for some driftwood and beautiful beach scenery.
We found it, and it was really cool but there was someone camping in it like full time camping. He had a garbage and a tent and it just looked like they were living in it. We still took a picture and it definitely moved over the years. It moved a ways back and doesnt face the ocean. The walk on the beach is really nice and the rainy day did not stop us.
