Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on June 22, 2019Most spots are not on the lake, but we got the primo spots on a Monday night. Both spots had been reserved the days before and days after.
Many spots are actually reserved, but the people never show up. That’s strange, but after camping in three different campgrounds within the area it seems to be an issue.
We also tried to reserve a spot the day before, but were not allowed too. I even called the park service to try to reserve a spot.
Our spot on the lake was perfect for our one night. Beautiful.
Why I’m giving a 3 star is bathroom issues. Zero toilet paper and messy. There are sheets on the wall that say they had been “serviced “ two days ago, but there is no way they would have been completely out of toilet paper. Also there were no pay envelopes stocked.
