Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on August 07, 2023We stayed for a week not too long after they were flooded. They had done a lot of work to clean up and restore the park and it was very nice. Area was quite. Direct access to the river would have been and was normally available except not during our stay due to the flood damage. Very friendly staff. Only negative was that there was only 1 washer & dryer in the laundry area. Not sure if this was due to flood damage.

Even though it was short and sweet it was good. As soon as we called Colorado landing I felt good about the stay. As we drove into LaGrange TX all I could do is to have "LaGrange"by zztop playing loud on spotify. Got to the park. Very nice. Had a pull through with water, sewer, electric and cable. 2 showers in the clubhouse along with laundry. That was good, Just 100 yards from TYL our rig. We had site 75 nobody on our right. Dog bark park is 75 yards away. That was great for Matty our Kookierhondje. The staff very accommodating. The river behind us a very short walk. At early evening,
a herd of deer 50yds away. A bit of highway noise that went away after 9pm. Right out of LaGrange you could walk to town. I will be back!

VERY quiet park. We stayed with dog to attend the nearby Czech festival. We made a last minute reservation and could not have been happier. Very spacious level sites. The entire area was clean and appealing. The dog park is grassed and very nicely maintained.
We were very far from the office and the WiFi was hit or miss

This is a great little park and its a mix of overnighters and some sites that have full time residents. Over our week stay and several walks with the dog each day, it was always very quiet and sites were all well maintained. The large dog park was great to get the kids and the dog some time to run off some energy. Small playset on site as well as a few swings from large shade trees. Our stay was during April and the pool was just a bit cold for our taste at the time, but I'm sure during the summer it would be ideal. In the evening a group of 12+ deer would roam through the campground and it was very peaceful to watch them stroll by. We did have some heavy rains while we were there, but drainage was great at the park. One word of caution, the streets near the campground are narrow so if you have a big rig, just be sure to not miss your turn.
3 down / .5 up with TMobile

Work/schooling was ok, but Zoom was almost unusable. MS Teams seemed to do better with the lower bandwidth.

Quiet, generally large spots with room to let your slides and awnings out. Excellent, as in FANTASTIC dog park(s), yes, they have two dog parks, one for large and another for the little ones. Nice and clean swimming pool, no hot-tub. Best to be in a self-contained RV as the bathhouse is extremely restricted due to location and size. Roads are cement but are un-even and are in need of repair so go slow. Beware of the rising river during the rainy (Spring) months for Texas. Park WiFi is spotty at best, per the usual campgrounds. T-Mobile is barely doable for streaming, you get better results with Verizon at this park.
